Grazing at Dusk

Grey horse nibbling his leg. Acrylics on 9x12 canvas.

I just loved the lighting in the photo ref. I used and had to paint this. The colors were a challenge..lots of mixing and remixing..but I'm quite happy with the result.

Photographed and kinda glarey because my scanner made it kind of blurry. : /
